      After submitting online application, candidates are required to obtain two copies of the application printout. One copy of print out application duly signed and affixed photogrph attested by Gazzetted Officer there on and attested copies of 10th Class Certificate, 12th Class certificate alongwith Degree/Provisional Degree of B.E/B.Techor marksheet of eight semesters of B.E/B.Tech are to be forwarded to “Additional Directorate General of Recruiting (Rtg-6), TGC Section, West Block-III, RK Puram, New Delh-110066.” The last date of receipt of such printouts of online applications is 14 Sep 2012 while forwarding these applications the words “Online application for 40th SSC (Tech) Men/11th SSC (Tech) Women and the Roll No. ........... “ must be written boldly outside the envelope. The second copy of the printout of online application form and all the above certificates in original alongwith two attested photocopies are to be carried out to the Selection Centre by the candidate. Original will be returned after varification by the Selection Centre.

      Gazetted Officer is a government official, you can go to any hospital,school etc but should be government.There employees have stamps with them bearing organsiation name and their registration number. Besides application print out,you also have to get attested all certificates

      oooo ok ok..thanks sir...but i've another small doubt....
      on this lines i'm pasting:

      After applying online, candidates are requested to take a print out, paste his attested photograph in the space
      provided, sign it in blue ink in the space provided and send it along with attested copies of the required certificates...
      now what is this attested photograph?do i have to sign over it?this signning confusion pls clear it out..where i've to sign??

      when you sign on photograph that is self attestation which in this this case is not required. You have to sign on the space provided,see at the bottom of form where it is written signature of applicant. What you have to do is paste your photograph and take it to gazzetted officer,he himself will put a stamp and sign(half on the photograph,half on the form)

      Good question vinayak. So far what i noticed is training academy for TGC is IMA and for SSC it is OTA Chennai,and eductional qualfication required for both are same.But there may be more differences,which I don't know yet,but will definitaly try to enquire and notify you if I get the right answer

      but there is some problem printing the form as it is html and while printing not getting properly oriented and while printing outside at a store the file did open but with no print preview so could not take print.

      Always keep in mind that while filling online forms,use Internet explorer instead of firefox or chrome.And if you don't have printer attached,use primo pdf software,so when you will click print,it will convert that file to pdf so that you can take printout later :)

      No problem my friend,most of the students are getting this problem where marks table is divided between two pages,even some of the letters are half on one page and another half on the another page,So you need not to worry and send it as it is.

      I don't know what medical tests are carried out there,but as told in advt of UES,following points are essential for eligibility
      (f) Physical Standards:
      (i) Height & Weight: The minimum acceptable height and weight for men is 157.5 cms with correlated weight. In case of candidates belonging to the North East and hilly areas like Gorkhas, Nepalese, Assamese and Garhwalis, the height will be relaxed by 5 cms and weight commensurate with reduced height. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2cms.
      (ii) To be passed fit, a candidate must be in good physical and mental health free from any disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duty.
      (iii) Prospective candidates are advised to exercise and keep themselves physically fit, in order to avoid any injury due to the rigorous physical training at Indian Military Acadamy. In order to be able to adjust to the regime there candidates are advised to achieve following standards before joining the IMA, if f inally selected:- (a) Running 2.4Km in 15 minutes (b) Push ups - 13 Nos (c) Sit ups - 25 Nos
      (d) Chin ups - 6 Nos (e) Rope climbing - 3-4 metres.
      (iv) Visual Standards: The minimum acceptable visual acuity are: Distant vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse 6/18, Myopia of not more than minus 3.5 including Astigmation. Candidates who have undergone or have evidence for having undergone Radial Karatotomy to improve the visual acuity will be permanently rejected.Candidates who have undergone Lasik Surgery for Correction of reflective error are NOT acceptable.

      Logo is not that much important,only roll no is required. It happens when you save a file in html format some of the images does not show up. What you can do is download primo pdf software and then give print command,primo pdf will convert it to pdf file so that you can take print out later.This is much better option then saving in html format.

      According to advertisement
      "The universities which have ‘Grade Point’ system, need to convert Grades into %age of marks scored. Filling of cumulative %age of marks scored based on the Cumulative Grade at the end of third year/seventh semester/fourth year (as applicable) is compulsory; failing which the application will be rejected"

    but have only 3 CGPA/DGPA marks that is yearly..
    viz,
    2nd Semester/1st Year
    4th Semester/2nd Year
    6th Semester/3rd Year
    as I am final year appearing student.
    now what will do wiht 1 st , 3rd, 5th semester DGPA/CGPA.
    IS it left... as our MARKSHEET...
    i have % age of Marks based on Cumulative Grade /DGPA .

    And 7 th SEMESTER left blank.......

      From your points it appears that you have just started 7th sem. You have to note one thing that training is commencing from april 2013,so you may not have completed your 8th sem classes till that time and may not be eligible or if i am wrong,then to make things clear i can say that you can send only marksheet till 6 sems as that is all you have got now. And for 1st year you can ask your college authorties,or just do one thing divide those marks between 2 sems and fill at appropriate place in form at your own risk as you have no other option because i don't think any blank column will be allowed in the form.

      You have to get attested all certificate and forms from gazzeted officer, and yes 31st august is the last date for filling the online form,and for sending hard copy of form it is 14 sep.

    I am final year B.tech student.

    My question is regarding the date of completion of my collage.My collage ends in may 2013,but in my 8th semester(which is from january 2013 to may 2013) have no any written exams.

    I have only project to do and viva of that project.

      But in the TGC Advertisement it is written that candidates having year back are ineligible to apply, but in my case I have never been penalize with year back, instead I started working since July 2010. Kindly suggest am I eligible for TGC Course.

    i got my ssb call on 28th oct in bhopal, but i'm facing some problems right now,
    first of all tell me is there any form difference between tgc-116 and ssc(tech)-40? because i have my print out of ssc(tech)-40 form and my roll number which is mentioned on the form is different from the roll no in the website. and the second thing is that my date of birth is wrong in the website, it shows my dob is 10-feb-89 i.e 10-02-89 but my actual dob is 02-oct-89 i.e 02-10-89 and when i checked my form the dob is correct. so what should i do in this situation?
    first- my dob is wrong
    second- my roll no is wrong
    but i got the call from tgc-116 entry

    what should i do now?
    help me i'm into big trouble.

    i have my all documents ready but i do not have the online application form hard copy please help me is there any other alternative from where i can retrieve my online application form hard copy , will my candidature be considered

    hello sir, i had passed CDS 1 2014 and my ssb interview is on 17th august at 33 ssb bhopal. iam 2009-2013 batch btech pass out student but i had a backlog which i had written last monthbut my result will only be annouced on september...my query is that can i attend ssb interview with backlog?(entry type is CDSE)...
